Topic: THINGS OF GREATER VALUE (Part 8)

Text: “So give Your servant an understanding mind and a hearing heart [with which] to judge Your people, so that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge and rule this great people of Yours?”— 1 Kings‬ 3‬:9,‬ AMP‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬.

King Solomon is one exceptional king worth studying in the Bible. He excelled and rose to become the greatness we know today because he understood what was more important. The Bible describes how he prioritized his need for God’s wisdom above all else. Solomon’s life went downhill when he started putting the wrong things first.

Our priorities help us understand how to live the most fulfilling lives possible. When we don’t set our priorities correctly, many things go wrong in our lives.

I dare to ask you today, what are the most important things in your life? Are you consciously reviewing and reevaluating your priorities as you mature? This is because priorities change over time. For example, your priorities will likely change when you marry and start having children. All of these are signs of development. When we set the right priorities, we begin to experience intentional growth.

Dear friend, let us consider what is truly valuable in life, what gives meaning to our lives, and set our  priorities on that.

WISDOM PUSH

If you are not going to talk about something during the last hour of your life, then don’t make it a key focus during your lifetime.
