TOPIC: TIME WITH THE FATHER (Part 2)

Text: “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him. And he with me.” – Revelations 3:20, ICB.

No one spends time with the Father and remains ordinary. In Exodus 34, we read of how Moses spent time with the Lord, and as he returned, he was unaware that his face was shining because he had spent time with God. The glory of God was mighty on him. Aaron and all the people of Israel saw that Moses’s face was shining, and they were afraid to go near him.

This is one of the benefits of tarrying in God’s presence; there is a deposit from the Lord that rests on you every time. You cannot come into this glorious experience when you cannot spend more than fifteen or thirty minutes in God’s presence.

As you do business and interface with people, there ought to be God’s glory they should see in your life. People will not sell you short or take advantage of you when they can see the glory of God in your life.

You must desire not to be a regular Christian but one whose life is rich with the glory and power of God. This will become effortlessly possible as you spend time daily with the Father; don’t rush in and out.

Ensure that you spend quality time with the Father today and every day.
