TOPIC: GET RICH IN HIS WORD (Part 2)
BIBLE TEXT: “Let the word of Christ live in you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the psalms, and with festive praises and with the prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts.” – Colossians 3:16, TPT.

The word of God truly helps us win in life. As we give attention to the word of God, through the help of the Holy Spirit, we will receive the strategies we need to win in life. If a person lacks interest in the word of God, such a person may have difficulty hearing or recognising the voice of God. When the enemy wants to fight your direction and God’s will for your life, he focuses on attacking your focus and appetite for God’s word. God wants to guide you by his word, and he wants you to win by his word. One good thing about having God’s word in our hearts is that it helps us filter the voices we hear. When the word of God lives in you and fills your life, it’s easy for your Spirit to approve or disapprove of whatever you hear. The path to the life God desires for you can be found in his word.

WISDOM PUSH:
1. Make it a daily habit to meditate on God’s word; this will improve your listening and yielding to His commands.

2. God will not contradict Himself, be careful about anything that goes against what God says in His word.
