TOPIC: TRUST IN HIS FAITHFULNESS (Part 1)

TEXT: “For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does.” – Psalms 33:4.

As we study the scriptures, we will notice that anyone who rose to prominence in their generation bore witness to God’s faithfulness. This can be seen in the cases of Abraham, Joseph, David, and many others. They all saw the fulfilment of what God had said about them and had direct experiences of God’s goodness.

In Proverbs 3:5-7, we are told to trust the Lord. Mark 11:22 also tells us to have faith in God. Our trust and faith must be based on a substance, which includes God’s character and testimonies.

Our confidence in God is because He is reliable. We honour and believe in God because he is faithful. 

The virtue of being faithful is a compulsory characteristic that every dignified and honourable person must have, and it is a necessity for honour. Our God is highly exalted and adored because of his faithfulness. He is committed to whatever he says. He will never fail because of his integrity and profound love for us. This is one of the reasons we must be confident and assured by his faithfulness. Our God is forever faithful and committed to us; nothing should make you doubt this.

WISDOM PUSH:

Every testimony of God’s faithfulness is an opportunity to tell someone about him.
