TOPIC: TRUST IN HIS FAITHFULNESS (Part 2)
TEXT: “But even if we are faithless, he will still be full of faith, for he never waivers in his faithfulness to us.” – 2 Timothy 2:13, TPT
Faithfulness is a noticeable trait of honourable people. When you are faithful, people will respect and talk good about you. It is not enough to be good at what you do; you must have a testimony and track record of being faithful, reliable, and credible. It is pointless for anyone to put their trust in a gifted and skilled person who is unreliable.
No matter what you do, building a record of being faithful would be best. It doesn’t matter how skilled, innovative, or knowledgeable you are; if you are perceived as unfaithful and unreliable, you will lose the honour and respect of people, and they will happily avoid you.
A critical clause arises when gifted, skilled and talented people who are not faithful are discussed. Other words for faithfulness include consistent, dependable, trustworthy, loyal, and dependable.
There is something that makes the Almighty God the Lord of All, God for all ages and all seasons; it is His faithfulness. Our God is dependable, faithful, and trustworthy, and you can trust what he says. Time doesn’t change him; circumstance doesn’t change him; the pressure of any person doesn’t change him; the demands of any person don’t change him.
The faithfulness of our God is unequalled, incomparable, and unsurpassed. No human can be as reliable, consistent, and faithful as our God.
Dear friend, the Lord wants you to know that He is faithful and to trust him for his faithfulness. Your today and tomorrow are safe with him. Maintaining this understanding will keep us strong, empowered and encouraged in all areas and seasons of our lives.
