TOPIC: TRUST IN HIS FAITHFULNESS (Part 5)

TEXT: “His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.” – Psalms 91:4, TPT.

As we study the life of Abraham and the kind of remarkable relationship he enjoyed with the Lord, we observe that Abraham understood the faithfulness of God, and this was why he could stand firm on the promises of God.

According to God’s Word in Romans 4:18, Abraham, against all odds, believed that he would become the Father of many nations, as God had promised. In Romans 4:20, the Bible lets us know that he did not stumble at God’s promise because of unbelief but was strong in faith, giving glory to God always.

Abraham recognized that if God could bring him out of the limitations of his Father’s house, make him a light to his family, and keep him through various challenging times, there was no reason to doubt anything God said he would do.

Just like Abraham, as you look carefully at the many beautiful things the Lord has done in your life, these should be your strong reason to trust him for the rest of your life.

You must never entertain any thought that wants you to downplay and belittle the Word of God. Whatever God has promised, he will fulfil it in your life. The Lord says to you today, “Trust in my faithfulness.”
