TOPIC: TRUST IN HIS FAITHFULNESS (Part 6)

TEXT: “But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.” – 2 Thessalonians 3:3, NLT.

One bible character with an inspiring testimony of trust in God is David. He could stay strong in all his battles because he knew God was always there for him.

David must have looked at his life and acknowledged, “With God’s help, a little boy like me brought down Goliath. Somehow, I didn’t qualify yet was anointed to be king. I was not even home when the prophet came; God’s love and interest in me brought me home. Even when my family looked away from me, God looked upon me. If he could do all these for me, his Word concerning my life will not fail.”

David faced numerous threats to his life and greatness but remained faithful to the Lord, and God always came through for him.

Looking back on our lives, we must remember how God’s help came through when we were least deserving. If we can recognize and appreciate God for what He’s done in the past, it will help us trust his faithfulness for our current season and the days to come.

This one truth is undeniable; God can be trusted because he is too committed to your life to leave you to yourself or the hands of anyone.
