TOPIC: TRUST IN HIS FAITHFULNESS (Part 7)

TEXT: “Your faithfulness flows from one generation to the next; all that you created sits firmly in place to testify of you.” – Psalms 119:90.

The God we serve is faithful. He keeps his promises and never abandons us, no matter what, even when we are at fault.

I believe it was an understanding of God’s faithfulness that must have kept Joseph in high spirits even in challenging times. I believe Joseph understood that he would not die without God fulfilling the dreams he had shown him.

So, despite all the hurdles and hassles he faced, the young man believed in the faithfulness of God. He must have said to himself, “If God could keep me through all the trials and temptations, he made me find favour with strangers, he preserved my life through everything I have been through, then he will surely take me into the future.”

This is why we must not forget what God did in the past just because of the challenges we face in the present. We must never forget the faithfulness of God, so we can stay positioned to experience more of his goodness. No matter what the situation is, trust in God’s faithfulness.

God has a plan for your life; even if you cannot see where it is going, trust him and follow his lead.

TODAY’S PRAYER

I decree over my life that I am not led by my flesh but by the Spirit of God. In all things, my eyes are on the Lord, and he leads me.
