Today’s word: Unshakeable Peace (Part 2)

Today’s Bible Reference: 1 Peter 5:7, AMP – “Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on him, for he cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]”.

Our bible text for today tells us to ‘cast’ all our cares on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. 

To cast is to throw something with reckless abandon, as though flinging away something you never want to receive or face again.

Many times, we release our burdens to God and pick them up again after we step out to face the day. We are commanded to hand over our worries, anxiety, and challenges to God and leave them in His capable hands.

Releasing our problems to God is not always easy, but the more we hand things over to God—again and again —the quicker and easier it becomes to let go and trust in God.

Make a habit of saying ‘Jesus take over’ every time you feel worried or afraid, even if it’s a hundred times a day; and experience God’s peace filling your heart and calming your soul. 

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

I declare that I am calm and at rest; the peace of God takes over every situation and fills my soul in Jesus’ name. Amen!
