Today’s Word: WHEN GOD CALLS (Part 2)
Today’s Bible Reference: “Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you.” – Genesis 26: 3, NIV.
Whenever God gives you an instruction or sends you on a mission, you need to be aware that it will come with certain demands on you and challenges. God often shows us the glory ahead, not the challenges that come along.
God called Abraham to a new path but didn’t tell him he would face certain challenges. A key reason God shows us the glory ahead is so we can know that is the destination guaranteed for us.
So, as we face challenges along the way, we must not forget God’s promises and what He showed us. Everything God showed and promised us will come to pass; we must ensure that our focus is secured as we journey along.
