Today’s Word: WHEN GOD CALLS (Part 3)
Today’s Bible Reference: “Even though Jesus was the son of God, he learned to obey by what he suffered.” – Hebrews 5:8, ICB.
Obeying and following God does not immune you from tough and challenging times, but you must be assured that God will cause everything to work for your good.
We learn from the scriptures how God disrupted Abraham’s life by instructing him to leave his father’s house. Abraham obeyed. God kept assuring him of a great future and posterity. Shortly after, he was caught in a great famine. The famine was so bad that it was described as intense and grievous. Abraham had to go to Egypt temporarily.
Our emphasis is that obeying God doesn’t mean everything will always go without challenges, but there is a guarantee we have. Through it, God will keep leading and guiding you.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, all through today, I prevail over thoughts of powerlessness, and I reject the lies of the enemy.
