Topic: WHO ARE YOU? (Part 1)

Text: “One day the evil spirit answered them, Jesus I know and Paul I know about, but who are you?” – Acts 19:15, NIV. 

 

The seven sons of a Jewish priest named Sceva went around, trying to drive out evil spirits in the name of Jesus. 

There is no biblical record of them giving their lives to the Lord or casting out these demons by faith in the name of Jesus. This proved true when they met with an evil spirit who asked them, “Who are you?”

It is one thing to hear of God and a different thing to know him. Many believers have been in church and heard sermons but do not know who they are in Christ or have a private walk with God. 

An event, a challenge, or maybe even the enemy will arise and ask you, “Who are you?”. We must spend time with God, growing in faith and knowing who we are in Christ.  

Today’s task:

Write down three benefits of being born again.

Wisdom push:

Using the name of Jesus is not enough. You must know who you are in Christ.

I declare that I am born of God. I am God’s masterpiece, destined to do great things.
