Topic: WHO ARE YOU? (Part 6)

Text: “One day the evil spirit answered them, Jesus I know and Paul I know about, but who are you?” – Acts 19:15, NIV.

Knowing God helps us understand His power, and a good way to know God is to spend quality time with His word. God wants us to know His word before using his name. He wants us to know Him. He wants his word to be rich in us so we can effortlessly see his power.

The enemy doesn’t know you not by the mere mentioning of the name of Jesus, but the enemy knows you by the word of God you carry in your spirit. The sons of the Sceva wanted to cast out demons using the name of Jesus, but the demon-possessed person pounced on them because he could see they were empty of the Word of God.

These sons of the Sceva were exorcists who used various methods to cast out demons from possessed persons, but this time, they decided to use the name of Jesus. They wanted to use the name that Paul uses, but they failed to understand that the word of God in your spirit determines the quality of supernatural results you experience.

Dear friend, let the word of God dwell in you richly. We must focus on knowing God better daily; this is how we can walk effortlessly in the supernatural.
