Topic: WHY CHARACTER IS NECESSARY (Part 12)

Text: “Innocent people will be kept safe. But those who are dishonest will suddenly be ruined.”- Proverbs 28:18, ICB.

When a believer is not intentional about developing excellent character, we open the door of our lives to many needless things. More so, we empower the enemy to blaspheme against our God. Unbelievers begin to mock our God when they see the negative fruits that the Children of God display.

As children of God, we are to be held to higher standards. We must not forget that we are called light and standard bearers. Our fathers want our light to shine before others so that they will identify us as his children. Our lives are screaming a message every time people encounter us; it is either revealing the glory of God or mocking the name of the Lord.

Every day, we must consciously live as the Jesus Christ that our world can see; we must be deliberate about representing him excellently, especially in our character.
