Topic: WHY CHARACTER IS NECESSARY (Part 4)

Text: “The honest person will live safely. But the dishonest one will be caught.” – Proverbs 10:9, ICB.

 

Our character affects every area of our lives: our decisions, words, choices, goals, relationships, etc. Every significant loss in life can be traced to character-related issues. Some of the worst crises in the world today are crises of character.

Sadly, we have believers who do not see that building solid character is a priority. Your character is the totality of the principles, ideologies, and philosophies by which you live your life. It doesn’t matter what a person acquires or how high they rise; if their character is weak, then what they have will not stand the test of time.

Your character serves as the foundation for your destiny. The strength of your character either saves or destroys the future. As a result, we must become deliberate in allowing the light of God’s word to shine on all aspects of our lives.

We must go beyond simply quoting scriptures and become a people who are being transformed by God’s word.
