Topic: WHY CHARACTER IS NECESSARY (Part 5)

Text: “Do not be shaped with this world. Instead, be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you. And you will be able to know what is good and pleasing to God and what is perfect.”- Romans 12:2, ICB.

There are certain things in our lives that we must confront honestly, deal with, lay on God’s altar and rise above for certain expressions of his glory to manifest or before he can entrust us with certain assignments, responsibilities or demands. Certain moral weaknesses will limit what we can do for God and how much God can do with us.

While the Father asked us to come the way we are, he does not expect us to remain the way we came. As we humbly submit ourselves to his wisdom and trust his counsel on everything, we will progressively become the people he wants us to be.

We must discipline ourselves to trust his wisdom in all things. This is a key pathway to experiencing his powerful work of transformation in our lives and character.

It is good to be proud of where you live. It is better when where you live is proud of you. One shows how rich you are, and the other reflects how good you are.

TODAY’S DECLARATION

In the name of Jesus, in this season of my life, I will not be part of anything that will advance the plans and desires of the kingdom of darkness.
