Topic: WHY CHARACTER IS NECESSARY (Part 8)

Text: “But the spirit gives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. There is no law that says these things are wrong.” – Galatians 5:22-23, ICB.

The real strength of a person lies in the strength of their character. No matter the material possessions a person has or how high they are in the political arena or any position of influence, they are truly weak if they lack sound character. Power and authority must be sustained with integrity. Authority without integrity will end in regrets.

Some people rose so high but crashed with so much ridicule and shame because they lacked the character that sustains greatness. We mustn’t ignore the development of sound character in pursuing any form of attainment.

It is excellence in character that sustains greatness. How long a person shines at the CenterStage has everything to do with their character.

I pray the Lord guides you in his wisdom to develop sound and excellent character. May He open your eyes to the things that truly matter in Jesus’ name.
