Topic: WINNING OVER THE LIES OF THE AGE (Part 4)

Text: “Anyone who digs a pit might fall into it. Anyone who knocks down a wall might be bitten by a snake.” – Ecclesiastes 10:8, ICB.

The devil is in the habit of selling lies, and when you accept what he sells, you give him access to your heart. When a person agrees with the lies of the devil, he becomes a huge influence in their lives.

One of the lies of this age is that there is no consequence for sin and ungodly practices.

Dear friend, sin is rebellion against God.

Sin is when we reject what God offers. Sin is disobedience to God. When someone chooses a lifestyle of sin, there will be consequences.

Proverbs 28:1 tells us that the wicked runs and is afraid when no one pursues them.

One of the consequences of sin and wickedness is the loss of peace. According to Psalms 119:165, those who love God’s word and follow it will find true peace.

Dear friend, there are consequences for choosing a lifestyle of sin and being led by flesh.

Reject the lies of the age that wants you to believe there is no consequence for rejecting the ways of God. Reject the lie and live wisely.

At the root of a lifestyle of sin and compromise is a lack of faith in God.
