Topic: Wisdom Wins (Part 11)

Text: “If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honourable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.” – James 3:13, NLT.

Today’s text is such an empowering scripture that reveals a significant profit of wisdom. Scripture says that we show our wisdom by our humility. This means that the Wisdom of God empowers us to be humble and modest.

True humility comes from wisdom. Anyone who is arrogant lacks God’s Wisdom.

To look down on anyone for whatever reason is a sign of the absence of wisdom. God gave you everything you have. We came into this world empty, and we will leave empty. As a result, nothing in your possession should feed or fuel your arrogance. This is one of the fundamental lessons that God’s Wisdom teaches you.

So, a key advantage of yielding to God’s Wisdom is that we live genuinely humble and modest lives.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to be more teachable and open to new learning.

Looking unto God is looking at solutions; we cannot look unto God and be trapped by situations.
