Topic: Wisdom Wins (Part 6)

Text: “…Foolish people hate wisdom and discipline.” – Proverbs 1:7

There is no loss or shame in being guided by God’s Wisdom. Wisdom truly wins.

Anyone who desires to live as an inspiration and to enjoy great peace must open their hearts to God’s Wisdom.

A key advantage of wisdom is that it restricts and instructs us against every form of wild and careless living. A sure path to living decently and in honour is to embrace the path of God’s Wisdom.

Wisdom teaches and guides us to live in the fear of God and to do everything with deep reverence, respect, and consideration for the Lord. There are things you will not do or entertain because of your honour for the Lord; that is his wisdom guiding you, and it will save you from shame, regrets, and dishonour.

Without the fear of the Lord, we will make decisions solely based on our human understanding and desires, without seeking God’s approval and direction.

Dear friends, I call on you to examine your life today, is it one truly lived in the fear of God? Are there things your respect for God compels you to do and not do? It truly pays to be deliberate about living in the fear of the Lord.

Today’s Task:

Meditate on what the fear of the Lord means to you, and search for scriptures on the fear of the Lord.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that unbelief, anxiety, and worry do not sit in my heart, and they don’t overpower me.
