Topic: Wisdom Wins (Part 9)

Text: “Your commands give me an edge on my enemies; they never become obsolete.” – Psalms 119:98, MSG.

One of the benefits of sitting under the teaching of God’s word is that it exposes us to the Wisdom of God.

As we keep learning the word of God, we gain understanding and grow in mastery of God’s principles. The principle of God reveals the Wisdom of God. You will not grow in wisdom if you are not growing in the knowledge of God’s principles. 

Your principles determine and influence your actions. This means there are principles that guide the way and actions of the Almighty God.

God’s word tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9 that his ways are not the ways of man. That means there are principles that guide whatever he does. There’s a reason and principle why God cannot lie, fail, change, or turn against his word.

As we focus on understanding the ways of the Lord, we make ourselves available to led by his principles.

As God’s principles continue to drive our lives, there are many things we will no longer struggle with.

Take some time to reflect on Proverbs 29:20.

Daily, focus on growing in the knowledge of God’s principles, and God’s Wisdom will lead you.
