The In-dwelling Of The Word

The In-dwelling Of The Word

Bible Texts: Colossians 3:10 & 16; Romans 12:2; Luke 10:42; Psalm 23

The Word of God is not meant to be thrown at us; it is meant to live in us. When the word of Christ dwells in us richly, we are led by wisdom, we begin to understand how it works, and we live in alignment with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost draws from what is stored in our spirit, which is why the Word must grow and dwell richly within us.

The real issue is not the devil, but a believer who lacks the Word rooted deeply inside. The Word brings stability, revelation, and identity. If we do not live by revelation, we will live by motivation. Authority flows from identity, and identity is revealed through the knowledge of God’s Word. We cannot speak with authority if we do not truly know Him.

The knowledge of God’s Word equips us with spiritual weapons and gives us the right response in every season. Service is important, but staying grounded in the Word is essential. Our power and advantage are in the Word. The more we know the Word, the more we know ourselves. The more we study Jesus who is the express image of the invisible God, the more we understand the mind of God.

Effective prayer is praying His Word. What fills you is what sustains you. The enemy wants believers focused on storms so they speak wrongly, but a strategic life is built on praying and declaring the Word. Apart from being born again, the most vital aspect of a believer’s life is the Word of God dwelling richly in their spirit.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.
